About This Site
Glenn Tilbrook is the lead music writer, singer, guitarist, producer and much more for the band Squeeze. I went to see them in 1998 and thought they were the best thing since sliced bread, but when they split up in the following year I started going to see Glenn's solo gigs instead.
If Squeeze was Mother's Pride, then Glenn solo was a lovingly baked organic farmhouse granary and I was totally smitten. I notched up a total of forty odd solo gigs over the next 9 years and for many of them I wrote a review for the Glenn mailing list of which I was a member. For some I also took photographs, so when I had a bit of time on my hands I put the two together on a website.
The website is now closed and will disappear one day in Summer 2008 when my hosting contract expires! It's been fun to do and I'd like to thank everyone who has supported and helped with it in any way.
Thanks also to Glenn for some very memorable evenings.
